POLITIK YANG TAK BERPIHAK PADA LINGKUNGAN

Untuk kedua kalinya Oi Medan mengeluarkan pernyataan sikap untuk mengecam keras kepada POLITISI BUSUK yang selalu memanfaatkan pohon untuk meletakkan alat kampanyenya dengan cara merusak/menusuk pohon dengan paku.

Era demokrasi terbuka di Indonesia seperti saat ini, menumbuhkan birahi individu dalam masyarakat untuk maju dalam pertarungan politik. Duduk sebagai KEPALA DAERAH menjadi tujuan banyak orang dewasa ini. Memang semua orang punya hak untuk muncul sebagai PENYELAMAT kalau tidak ingin disebut SOK PAHLAWAN.

Tetapi tahukah kita? Saat ini politik yang serba terbuka ini memunculkan polemik baru? Libido para petarung – petarung yang ingin duduk menjadi KEPALA DAERAH di tahun 2010 mengorbankan banyak hal. Mereka yang maju pada pesta demokrasi tersebut sama sekali tidak dikenal oleh masyarakat. Hal tersebut dikarenakan para calon KEPALA DAERAH tersebut tidak pernah sama sekali berbuat untuk kepentingan rakyat, baik yang sudah duduk, atau yang masih berstatus calon. Tetapi entah kenapa mereka tetap saja Percaya Diri untuk maju. Karena tidak ada yang mengenal mereka, jalan pintas untuk memperkenalkan diri pun dilakukan, yaitu dengan menempelkan Poster, photo, spanduk dan lainnya di sembarang tempat meminta orang untuk memilih mereka. Maklum cara publiksi ini tidak kena pajak reklame.

Poster, photo dan spanduk para calon KEPALA DAERAH yang disebar tersebut akhirnya akan menjadi sampah yang merusak lingkungan dan melanggar estetika keindahan kota. Lebih parahnya lagi, atribut – atribut kampanyr tersebut ditusuk atau dipaku langsung ke pohon sehingga akan melukai bahkan membunuh pohon. Padahal pohon yang ada tersebut sudah banyak memberi pertolongan kepada kita, baik itu Oksigen, kesejukan, keindahan dan lainnya. Kita yakin mereka tahu tentang hal itu, tetapi entah kenapa mereka masih saja menjadihan pohon sebagai sasaran menempelkan atribut mereka.

Praktek memperkenalkan diri lewat pamer photo calon KEPALA DAERAH tersebut juga merupakan pendidikan politik yang buruk untuk masyarakat. Karena masyarakat calon pemilih dalam pemilu dipaksa berdialog dengan benda mati dalam hal ini photo atau spanduk. Padahal masyarakat yang memiliki hak pilih dalam pemilu nanti tidak pernah mengenal siapa mereka yang saat ini mengaku calon pembela rakyat dengan umbar janji tersebut. Bukankah seharusnya masyarakat harus mengenal secara dekat orang – orang yang akan dipilihnya?. Bukan malah disuruh bertanya atau berbicara dengan foto.....

Karena itu, kami dari Badan Pengurus Kota Oi Medan (BPK Oi Medan) menyatakan :

1. kami meminta kepada Para calon KEPALA DAERAH agar tidak menggunakan apalagi merusak pohon dalam menempatkan atribut kampanye politik.
2. Kami meminta untuk tidak merusak keindahan kota dengan menempatkan Atribut kampanye politik dengan sembarangan.
3. Kami meminta kepada Dinas Pertamanan/SATPOL PP untuk mencabut dan membersihkan semua atribut calon KEPALA DAERAH yang menusuk pohon dan merusak lingkungan.
4. Meminta Pemerintah daerah untuk mengeluarkan PERDA untuk melarang dan memberikan sangsi kepada Partai politik dan calon KEPALA DAERAH yang atributnya menusuk pohon dan merusak lingkungan.
5. Menghimbau kepada masyarakat untuk tidak memilih calon KEPALA DAERAH yang posternya melukai pohon dan merusak lingkungan, karena mereka termasuk POLITISI BUSUK.

Back In Touch Ecotourism is a nature resort located near Bukit Lawang, inside the buffer zone of Gunung Leuser National Park (TNGL) in the exact path of very famous Bahorok river with cubbing facilities (traditional rafting), began in the movement as the alternative tourists visiting foreign countries. Back In Touch Ecotourism Bukit Lawang has prepared a range of facilities including accommodation with a natural concept, restaurant, tropical garden and a variety of flora and fauna which measures the entire region covered by TNGL the Dipterocarpaceae forest thick with several rivers and waterfalls. There are rare plants and typical of a giant umbrella leaf (Johannesteijsmannia altifrons), Raflesia (Rafflesia atjehensis and R. micropylora) and Rhizanthes zippelnii which is the largest flower with a diameter of 1.5 meters. In addition, there are unique plants and endangered species and are protected in national parks such as monkeys (Mecaca nemestrina), long-tailed monkey (Macaca fascicularis), gibbon (Symphalagus syndactylus), Sumatran tiger (Panthera tigris sumatrae), introspective / orangutan (Pongo abelii), goat forests (Capricornis sumatraensis), hornbill (Buceros bicornis), sambar deer (Cervus unicolor), and bobcat (Prionailurus bengalensis sumatrana).

Development is the centered of the consideration for the ecological balance and saving forests by the people.
